The factory
A cue factory built around measurement
UniCues started in 2009 as a two-lathe workshop making maple cue butts for local billiard clubs. Today we run a 12,000 m² facility with CNC tapering cells, a carbon shaft curing line and a 30-station finishing floor — but the principle has not changed: measure it, or it does not ship.

How we build
We keep wood and carbon in the same building on purpose. It forces one quality standard across both platforms, and it lets a distributor buy a carbon performance cue and a maple house cue from a single container.
Carbon shafts are wound, cured and centreless-ground in-house. That control is why we can hold a 29 mm pro taper to ±0.1 mm and why our deflection numbers stay stable from batch to batch.
Every finished cue is dial-gauged for straightness, weight-sorted to the gram, then hit-tested on a bench rig before it is packed in an individual hard case.
In-house capabilities
- CNC turning & tapering cells
- 40T carbon prepreg winding and curing
- Centreless grinding for shaft straightness
- UV finishing line & leather wrap station
- Laser engraving and metal badge tooling
- In-house hit-test bench and dial gauge QC
Quality & compliance
ISO 9001:2015 certified process control, BSCI-audited labour standards, and CE/RoHS compliant materials. Each shipment ships with a QC report covering straightness, weight, tip hardness and joint torque.
